I remember when I was child, feeling uncertainty about beginning martial arts. I wondered if I had what it took to succeed and I wasn’t the most athletic or confident child – quite the opposite. Little did I know that beginning my martial arts journey would be one of the most profound experiences of my life!

Now, as a life-long martial artist, I can tell you my teachers, partners and on the mat rivals have become some of my closest friends and mentors. The lessons I have learned on the mat have served me in every area of my life and I am excited for you to find the benefits of an international family through Olympic and International Sport. The positive culture of our arts show in the development of our students.

When we opened our school in 2012, we made a commitment to serving and empowering the community of Summerville by teaching children and adults the confidence, leadership and fitness skills that can only be achieved through a sport like Judo or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
