Al Jacobs received his Shodan (First Degree Black Belt) in Judo in 1987. He is currently a Sandan (Third Degree Black Belt) He is the 2013 Masters National Champion and currently coaching and competing with The AJJA Tournament Team.

He is the head Judo coach at AJJA. His expertise and love for good Judo is unmatched.




Eli Fletcher is the head Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Instructor at AJJA. He received his black belt in 2006 from World Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Curtiss Robinson, Matt Avant and Bill MacCumbee promoted him to Nidan (second degree black belt) in 2012 under SogoGoshinJitsu. He received his Nidan (second degree black belt) in Judo under Al Jacobs and Dr. Ronald Allan Charles in June of 2013. He loves to compete and is a local champion in both Judo and Submission Grappling circuits. He is an amazing instructor and his passion and expertise are unmatched.
